Leadership, governance and organisational framework
Our organisational structure is designed to ensure strong governance, strategic leadership, and efficient programme delivery. It promotes accountability, clarity in roles, and effective coordination across all levels of the organisation.
The Board of Trustees sits at the highest level of governance, providing strategic oversight and guidance. The Board ensures that the organisation remains true to its mission and vision, upholds transparency, and operates in line with legal and ethical standards.
The Executive Director provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the organisation. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director is responsible for policy implementation, organisational growth, and ensuring that all programmes and operations align with the organisation’s objectives.
The Country Director oversees in-country operations and ensures the effective implementation of organisational strategies at the national level. Working closely with the Executive Director, the Country Director coordinates departmental activities, strengthens partnerships, and ensures that programmes are responsive to local needs and contexts.
The Programmes Department is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all projects and interventions. It also leads stakeholder engagement, builds strategic partnerships, and drives resource mobilisation through donor engagement and grant acquisition. The department ensures that programmes are impactful, evidence-based, and aligned with community priorities and donor requirements.
This department manages the organisation’s administrative systems and human resources, ensuring efficient operations and a productive work environment. It is also responsible for logistics, procurement processes, and operational support services that enable smooth programme implementation.
The Accounts Department manages the organisation’s financial resources with a strong emphasis on transparency and accountability. It handles daily financial transactions, maintains accurate financial records, and provides timely financial reports in line with organisational, regulatory, and donor requirements.
This department supports the organisation’s technology infrastructure, data management, and communication efforts. It enhances visibility, strengthens digital systems, and promotes data-informed decision-making.
